About Us

Make It Your Business urges businesses and insurance companies to voluntarily cover and promote help for smokers who want to quit. Founded in 2002 by the Tobacco-Free Coalition of Oregon, Make It Your Business earned the 2005 Community Leadership Award by America's Health Insurance Plans and has been adapted by at least ten states. It joined the Healthiest State in the Nation Campaign in 2007. The Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, a program office of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, supported the work.

Make It Your Business founder, Dawn Robbins, now works as a consultant, providing consultation services through Dawn Robbins & Associates.
